Observers reported yesterday (Tuesday, February 9) that True Breeders Pet Store was closed at 5:30pm - if they do not open until 11am today (Wednesday) that means the poor animals inside are alone, possibly without food or clean water, and possibly in their own urine/feces for almost 18 hours?????????????????
Considering the snow storm today, most people are choosing not to venture outside on the icy roads... has anyone seen if the store is open today and if those poor animals have been cared for???

Of course True Breeders is open today (Wednesday, February 10th). Not even a blizzard would stop them from coming in to care for the puppies. Also, I'd like you to be informed that every evening several hours after closing time the puppies are checked on.
ReplyDeleteThe store was not open today, there was no one there at all. No puppies either.
ReplyDeleteChristine let us and 2 or 3 other families take the puppies home so they would not be alone in the store, and to help socialize them.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't know what is going on at True Breeders. I am not a puppy mill supporter, nor am I a personal friend of Christine's. But for what it's worth, she does seem responsible towards the puppies in her care, wherever they came from.
did Christine tell you and the other families that her dogs have parvo virus?? i hope you don't have small children and/or dogs
ReplyDeleteThose dogs are under quarentine. They are not to be removed until the 2 week period is up and she is cleared by the state. If the pups have been removed, parvo witll be spread thru town.
ReplyDeleteI was commenting on an earlier post (see dates). This all happened before the whole Parvo thing.
